Liverpool’s Alexander Isak is playing with greater “confidence” this season, according to Match of the Day pundit Rob Edwards, who broke down the forward’s performance against Bournemouth on the programme.
Edwards’ analysis focused on how Liverpool are working to get Isak more involved in games this year. The striker has scored four goals this season, a tally that already exceeds what he managed across the whole of last season, when he scored three.
The pundit’s assessment came after Liverpool’s meeting with Bournemouth, the match used on Match of the Day to illustrate the adjustments being made to bring the forward into the play more often.
