Archive highlights of Craig Bellamy’s late winner for Wales against Denmark in 1998 have been published by BBC Sport Wales. The footage covers the moment Bellamy struck the decisive goal for his country, in a Wales side then managed by Bobby Gould. In the clip, Bellamy himself describes the late winner.
The archive item arrives with the two nations set to meet again. Bellamy’s Wales will face Denmark in the Nations League on Sunday, 27 November, with a 17:00 BST kick-off.
The match will be shown and broadcast across a range of BBC outlets, including BBC iPlayer, BBC One Wales, BBC Sounds, BBC Radio Wales, Radio Cymru and 5 Live, along with the BBC Sport website and app. Live text commentary will also be available. The archive highlights are available to UK users only.
