Chiesa eyes Liverpool exit as Haaland linked with Barcelona

Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa is ready to leave Anfield in January, with Inter Milan, Lazio and Atalanta all interested in signing the 28-year-old Italy forward. The Serie A trio are on the radar of the former Juventus player, who is reportedly prepared to make a mid-season exit.

Arsenal have the finances to sign Erling Haaland from Manchester City, but the 26-year-old Norway striker is more likely to join Barcelona than the Gunners if he leaves the club.

Juventus remain keen on Brentford’s 22-year-old Italian right-back Michael Kayode.

Barcelona’s Spanish forward Dani Olmo does not want to leave the club despite links with Arsenal, Chelsea and clubs in the Saudi Pro-League. The 28-year-old is reportedly unwilling to move.

Tottenham and Liverpool are monitoring Brighton’s Japan winger Kaoru Mitoma over a possible January move. The 29-year-old is out of contract next summer.

Mexico attacking midfielder Gilberto Mora would prefer to join Real Madrid or Barcelona over Liverpool if he leaves Club Tijuana next year. The 17-year-old is one of the young players attracting attention.

Barcelona are keeping tabs on Italy-born Germany Under-21 striker Nicolo Tresoldi, 22, who continues to impress for Club Brugge.

Former Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is planning to attend the club’s Champions League game with Paris St-Germain on 14 October in a show of support to his troubled former club.
