England host Greece at the King Power Stadium in Leicester in the second leg of their Women’s World Cup qualifying playoff, kicking off at 7.30pm BST. Sarina Wiegman’s side carry a 3-1 lead into the game after Friday’s first leg in Crete, leaving them firmly in control of the tie.
The reward for the winners is a decisive playoff against Ukraine, who beat Slovakia 1-0 to complete a 4-1 aggregate victory in their own tie.
Wiegman has made two changes from the side that won the first leg. Jess Carter and Lexi Potter come into the team in place of Esme Morgan and Laura Blindkilde Brown. England’s performance in Crete drew constructive criticism from their manager, who said afterwards that her side were not tight enough and did not move the ball as quickly as she would have liked — something they will be looking to correct in front of a home crowd.
Greece have also made a couple of adjustments. Eleni Saich replaces Eleftheria Drakogiannaki, while Stylian Katergiannaki is preferred in goal to Fafailia Petaloti.
England line up in a 4-3-3: Hampton; Le Tissier, Williamson, Carter, Greenwood; Stanway, Walsh, Potter; Hemp, Russo, James. The substitutes are Keating, Charles, Moorhouse, Blindkilde Brown, Morgan, Fisk, Clinton, Mead, Parkinson, Godfrey and Toone.
Greece also start in a 4-3-3: Katergiannaki; Giannaka, Gkouni, Markou, Paterna; Brame, Sarri, Moraitou; Saich, Papatheodorou, Brouksair. Their bench consists of Giannakouli, Petaloti, Fakinou, Ntarzanou, Kapnisi, Chalatsogianni, Drakogiannaki, Tzourtzevits, Argyriou, Palama, Rapani and Kongouli.
The referee for the match is Rasa Grigone of Lithuania.
