Dani Alves’ wife Joana Sanz puts luxury wardrobe up for sale at half price

Joana Sanz, the wife of footballer Dani Alves, has opened a social media account dedicated exclusively to selling off part of her wardrobe, and the pieces on offer are anything but ordinary. The listings cover luxury clothing and accessories from some of the best-known names in fashion, including Chanel, Balenciaga, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

The prices reveal both what the garments originally cost and how far Sanz is prepared to cut them. A Chanel denim jacket carrying the brand’s characteristic monogram, which she says she paid 6,000 euros for, is listed at 2,900 euros — practically half its original price. An oversized red Balenciaga sweater that cost 950 euros is now on offer for 300. A pair of high Isabel Marant boots, which Sanz says she has never actually worn, has come down from 890 euros to 300.

Footwear plays a leading role in the sale. A pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers that once cost 1,100 euros now appears at 400, while a pair of Gucci Flashtrek, bought for 1,200 euros, is also being offered for 400. Taken together, the five pieces represent an original outlay of more than 10,000 euros, against an asking price of roughly 4,300.

The clear-out has fuelled speculation about the couple’s financial situation. It also fits a change of professional direction for Sanz: in 2024 she announced that she was temporarily leaving the runways in order to focus on other fashion-related projects, but without exposing herself personally in the way she had until then.
