London City Lionesses picked up their first away win of the season with a 4-1 victory over Charlton Athletic in the Women’s Super League, a result built on a double from Goodwin.
The three-goal margin ended a four-game streak without a victory on the road for London City, who had been unable to take a win from any of their previous away fixtures this season.
For Charlton, the defeat continues a difficult start to the campaign: the club has now lost all three of its Women’s Super League matches.
