Alex Scott has withdrawn from the England squad for Tuesday’s Nations League match against the Czech Republic due to an injury. The Bournemouth midfielder picked up the problem, ruling him out of the upcoming international fixture.
The injury is expected to keep Scott out for six to eight weeks. That represents a significant absence for Bournemouth, who are scheduled to play nine matches between 10 October and 8 November.
Scott’s withdrawal comes after he was excellent on his full England debut in Saturday’s 7-0 Nations League victory over Croatia.
