Jordan Graham: Former Birmingham winger in hospital after serious road traffic accident

Former Birmingham City winger Jordan Graham is in hospital after being involved in what has been described as a “serious road traffic accident”.

The Professional Footballers’ Association issued a statement on behalf of Graham’s family confirming that the 31-year-old is “receiving specialist treatment” following the incident earlier this month. The family said they are “incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving” and have asked for privacy, requesting that people refrain from contacting them directly while they focus entirely on Graham and his recovery. The statement added that further information will only be provided when appropriate.

Graham played 49 times in the Championship for Birmingham between 2021 and 2023 after joining the club from Gillingham. An Aston Villa academy product, he also made 17 appearances for Wolves and had loan spells with Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United and Fulham. In total he has made 188 career appearances, though he has not played since leaving Leyton Orient in 2025.

Gillingham issued a message of support, saying everyone at the club is thinking of Graham and his family at this time, and wishing him a full and swift recovery. Leyton Orient also responded, posting: “We’re all with you JG.”
