Arsenal forward Noni Madueke is attracting attention from two of Europe’s established heavyweight clubs, with Atletico Madrid and Juventus both targeting the 24-year-old England international. Madueke’s situation at Arsenal is now being monitored from both La Liga and Serie A, although no move has materialised.
In Spain, Barcelona defender Jules Kounde is the subject of widespread Premier League interest. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are all said to be keen on the 27-year-old France international, and Barcelona would be willing to listen to significant offers for him. The scale of that interest means any deal would likely hinge on how serious those offers become.
One piece of business closer to completion concerns Harry Kane. The 33-year-old England captain is in the final stages of agreeing a new three-year contract with Bayern Munich, a deal that would extend his stay in Germany well beyond the current campaign.
Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee could be revisited by AC Milan in January. The Serie A club are considering another attempt to sign the 25-year-old Netherlands international, potentially on loan with an option to buy.
Fulham’s 19-year-old English attacker Josh King is valued at £51m and has drawn interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. Elsewhere in attack, Real Madrid are set to stand firm on their desire not to sell 20-year-old Brazil forward Endrick, despite interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.
Tottenham’s own ambitions in that area look complicated: their interest in Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez is unlikely to come to anything, with the 26-year-old Argentina international still having his heart set on a move to Barcelona.
Defensive targets are also in play. Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in Barcelona and Spain left-back Alejandro Balde, 22, who is also wanted by Juventus, while Paris St-Germain are again interested in 20-year-old Manchester United and France defender Leny Yoro. Inter and Juventus are both eyeing Liverpool’s 19-year-old Italian centre-back Giovanni Leoni.
Away from the elite European market, representatives from clubs in the Premier League and Major League Soccer have been scouting Colombia U20 international Edmilson Herazo, an 18-year-old based at Barranquilla.
