Real Madrid are considering joining the race to sign Alex Scott after watching the Bournemouth and England midfielder closely in recent weeks. The 23-year-old has become the focus of a widening transfer tussle, with several of Europe’s leading clubs credited with an interest in his signature.
Chelsea are reported to be in pole position to sign Scott from Bournemouth, with Liverpool and Arsenal also interested in the midfielder. If Real Madrid firm up their interest, Bournemouth could find themselves fielding approaches from four major clubs.
Arsenal’s recruitment plans are not limited to Scott. The Gunners are in the market to sign Turkish winger Kenan Yildiz, 21, from Juventus, though they face competition from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for the young attacker.
In defence, Liverpool and Chelsea have joined the race to sign Nottingham Forest’s Brazilian defender Murillo. However, the 24-year-old will not be allowed to leave the City Ground in January, with Forest ruling out a mid-season departure.
Real Betis, meanwhile, will reject any interest in striker Troy Parrott. The 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international has an £85m release clause in his contract, and his situation has been linked with talk of a return to Tottenham.
Sevilla’s defensive midfielder Lucien Agoume is attracting attention from a number of Premier League clubs. The 24-year-old Frenchman has a release clause in the region of £35m.
Leeds United have no intention of selling Tarik Muharemovic, their £34m summer signing from Sassuolo. The 23-year-old Bosnia defender is being tracked by Barcelona and Inter Milan, two of the top European clubs monitoring him.
In Italy, AC Milan may look to sign Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Endrick on loan in January, but there will be no clause in the deal for the 20-year-old to sign on a permanent basis.
Monaco striker Folarin Balogun remains interested in a move to the Premier League. The 25-year-old USA international’s proposed switch to Everton collapsed on deadline day, but he is reportedly still keen on a return to England.
Away from the transfer market, former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is enjoying time relaxing away from the game despite being linked with a return to management at Manchester United and Juventus.
